Introducing the 'Ori Tahiti Cultural Events

Multiple organizations, or Government institutions have organized Cultural events focused on the 'Ori Tahiti
as a possibility fo individuals or groups of every size from all over the world to come together in cultural exchange and competition in 'Ori Tahiti.

It is been several years now that people from all over the world has participated to these events.
The most popular Cultural events are the following:

March - April

  1. Heiva International
    The Heiva International by Matani Kainuku is an event that takes place every other year. The next Heiva International will be in March/April 2020
  2. 'Ori Tahiti World Cup
    The 'Ori Tahiti World Cup by Matani Kainuku is an event part of the Heiva International, it is held at Place To'ata every other year on a Friday and Saturday evening. (Coming up in April 2020)
  3. 'Ori Tahiti Training Course
    The 'Ori Tahiti training course is a training organised by the 'Ori Tahiti Professors of the Conservatoire de Polynesie Francaise. They offer 2 sessions per year, one in June and one in November.

June - July

  1. Farereira'a i Tahiti
    The Farereira'a i Tahiti by Coco Hotahota is an event that takes place every 3 years in Tahiti. It gathers Polynesian dancers from all over the world. They get to perform and compete at different places.
  2. Heiva i Tahiti
    The Heiva i Tahiti (A Traditional dance competition) is one of the most popular event all over French Polynesia, It attracts many many visitors from all over the world. It is held in a period of 2 weeks at "Place To'ata" in Papeete.
  3. Heiva Rima'i
    The Heiva Rima'i (a traditional festival for arts and crafts) is a neautiful event where all artists are gathered to showcase their artwork from all archipelagos of French Polynesia. A best place to get inspired with costume designs, home decor etc.

November - December

  1. Hura Tapairu Manihini
    The Hura Tapairu Manihini, an event for international dance groups. It's an 'Ori Tahiti dace contest for small formations of 8 minimum. It is held at the Grand theatre of La Maison de la Culture
  2. 'Ori Tahiti Nui Competition
    The 'Ori Tahiti Nui Competition by Tumata & Manouche is a very popular event that takes place at the "Tahiti Ia Ora Beach" in the city of Punaauia. It is a 'Ori Tahiti Dance competition for all levels and age category.
  3. 'Ori Tahiti World Championship
    The 'Ori Tahiti world championship by Tumata & Manouche is part of the 'Ori Tahiti Nui competition. It is a dinner/show event with a Traditional fashion show etc..

2- Get your Deposit per person Ready ($350 per person)

3- Confirm and Sign the travel group agreement/Contract after we send you the group rate and group's itinerary

1- Make payments
(Each month, we will collect your dues)

2- Verify all your travel documents
(Names, passports, visas..)

3- Make Final payment
(usually 60/70 days before departure)

1- Enjoy your trip
(We stay at your disposition in case of travel emergency)

2- Contact us if you need assistance or if something comes up (We strongly recommend each group member the get Travel Insurance)



1- Send us your feedback about the trip
(We will send you a survey as we value your feedback)

2- Share with us your best experience about the trip
(Pictures, videos, testimonies etc..)
